Lesson: we can only reach God through prayer
The whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. Then the people decided to build a tall tower to reach heaven. However God was not pleased with their idea and so he went down and confused their speeches so that none could understand the other. He then scattered them across the world and the tower was not completed. Genesis 11:1-9
